What is Reiki / Energy Medicine?

Energy Medicine or Healing is a branch of holistic medicine that works through energy channels in the body to remove blocks that reside in the mind, body or spirit. The healing practitioner assists the client in realignment with the body and mind’s natural ability to heal. This includes working with limiting beliefs and conditioned patterning within the body, mind and spirit to bring optimum alignment.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by laying on of hands and based on the idea that life force energy flows through us from Divine and is what causes us to be alive. Life force energy runs through our chakras, meridians and nadis up and down our body and spine. This life force energy can become blocked or stagnate and Reiki treatment dissolves these obstructions through positive energy, light, love, color and breath.
